Friends of Firefighters offers four weekend trips a year. These trips are designed to help couples and families gain tools and knowledge on how to come together again. They have several sessions over the course of the weekend facilitated by our peers and clinicians to help the groups understand, identify and talk through the problems that have created the Stressors in their relationship and home life. Through workshops and group meetings, the guests get to hear that they are not alone in their issues and that is because we only cater to one group, members of the FDNY and their families. That keeps the information given at the workshops very specific to the needs of a very specific population.

There are three family weekends scheduled for 2007 and one couples weekend scheduled for 2007.

Please call the office at 718-643-0980 for more information and how to get on the list for these very special and helpful weekends as the space is limited to 12 couples/families for each trip. A $100 deposit is required per family once you have been selected for the trip.
